Specialties: ART, trauma, neurodivergence, ADHD/Autism, adolescents & young adults, neurodiversity-affirming assessments, climate change anxiety I transitioned from a Californian to a Minnesotan during my 'quarter-life crisis' in 2015. As a Mexican-American, I grapple with the loss of cultural roots. Real talk is my style – I fidget, take brain meds, curse, and share bits about my life. Childhood anxiety shaped me, and I now identify as neurodivergent and wonder how things could have been different if an adult had noticed how much trouble I was having. Coping with climate change anxiety, I find solace in gardening on my porch and soaking in sunny grassy moments. Though my puppy may join our sessions one day, for now he's happily occupied with mischievous chewing. In telehealth sessions, my cat might snooze on the radiator behind me or loudly demand to be fed. Life is a unique journey with no one-size-fits-all approach. I believe in the beauty of human experience, embracing both joy and life's messiness, recognizing that grief coexists with love, joy, and hope. Let's navigate life's intricacies together.

In session, this means a collaboration with you to find the ways that align with your unique orientation to expression. All of you is welcome as we tap the calming of the nervous system in simple co-regulation. You can expect to be held in unconditional positive regard. A student at Adler Graduate School, Audrey is steeped in Adlerian psychology, which includes aspects like well-rounded multicultural orientations, justice, and an embrace of authentic compassion. Audrey has a dedicated yoga practice and a love of creative expression culminating in an expressive arts therapy specialization. Her training in craniosacral and polarity therapies lends a special attunement to the nervous system when working with trauma, utilizing tools such as co-regulation and somatic practices that support centering in one's own being. Audrey lives in Saint Paul with her partner and cats, growing gardens and community. Currently she spends most of her time immersed in school-related activities and working with vulnerable adults in a housing-first organization. To relax, she finds solace in the outdoors, dancing, making music, making art, and yoga. She dreams of an ideal world while acknowledging that challenges abound - and accepts those challenges can elicit growth when we work with them, and sometimes even play with them.

Specialities: PTSD, trauma, those who have suffered from high control groups & conversion therapy, couples, polyamory, kink, sexuality I am a therapist who is accessible, present, fearless, and authentic, currently working toward my license in Marriage and Family Therapy. I bring a lifetime of experiences (and a fondness for metaphors) to the therapy room. I enjoy working with therapy veterans, but also with clients new to therapy who want to feel secure and supported. I use strength based approaches to look forward, while acknowledging the systems that formed our history. I have experience and appreciate working with deep trauma, but am also here for those just feeling overwhelmed. Previously, I taught and had a practice in neuromuscular re-education for 20+ years. I am an internationally known author and expert in Applied Mindfulness. I am mostly experiential and narrative based, but with a big, deep toolbox. I work with individuals and relationships of all kinds. Working from a systemic lens, my focus is on meeting each person where they are, affirming, but straightforward. LGBTQ+, I have a background in, and a passion for art, both making and viewing. Favorites: kayak, bike, and a good hiking trail. I couldn’t manage without my Indian cookbooks and a wide variety of podcasts.
