Private Practice
Coaching & Consultation
Build a practice rooted in your values, your politics, and your vision for the world.
We’ve navigated the mess of insurance contracts, billing chaos, credentialing headaches, and the constant reinvention required to market without compromising our values. We’ve built private practices from the ground up, grown collectives, and stayed rooted in our politics and values the whole way through.
Now we’re offering coaching and consultation for therapists who want to build something different. Something that doesn’t replicate the same systems we came from.
Private practice wasn’t built with most of us in mind.
Especially if you’re queer, neurodivergent, BIPOC, or just not interested in replicating the white, cishet, patriarchal status quo.
Grad school didn’t teach us how to build ethical, accessible, values-aligned businesses. It didn’t teach us how to market without manipulation, get paid without guilt, or work in ways that center both our humanity and our clients’.
If you’re:
figuring out your first steps
exhausted from agency life
or reimagining what your practice could look like
Let's navigate it together!
Through mistakes, trial, community, and a lot of reimagining, we’ve built private pay practices, collective group practices, and systems that hold both values and financial sustainability.
If you’re trying to do the same, we’d love to support you.
We aren't gatekeepers of information. We don’t pretend there’s one right way. We share what we’ve learned and name what we’re still figuring out.

This is coaching rooted in lived experience, strategic thinking, and real-time support. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
I’ve worn a lot of hats and done it all from service industry worker, Fortune 500 sales, nonprofit board member, healthcare executive, and now business owner. I know the pressure of leadership and the weight of trying to hold it all together. I also know the fear of starting something new, and the freedom and joy that can come from doing it anyway.
Being a leader and building a business has been one of the most transformative things I’ve done. Along the way, I discovered that I have a deep understanding of numbers, a knack for training, and a leadership style rooted in curiosity and care.
Now, I work with therapists, directors, and business owners who are ready to lead more intentionally, build aligned businesses, or navigate big transitions with clarity and support.
What I offer support with:
• Choosing and registering your business structure and name with the Secretary of State
• Setting up your NPI and navigating the logistics of going into practice
• Building a financial system that works—pricing, paying yourself, paying others
• Navigating insurance credentialing and contracting without losing your mind
• Leading with emotional intelligence, clarity, and courage
• Strengthening your team dynamics and building workplace culture that lasts
• Supporting your own mental health as a leader, founder, or executive
• Exploring career transitions or redefining your leadership role

Coaching with me is about collaboration, strategy, and support, for therapists who want to do good work, get paid fairly, and stay rooted in their values (without selling out).
I’ve been around the mental health world since 2012, starting in social work, moving through case management, surviving the chaos of outpatient, and eventually building a full-time, private pay practice from the ground up. I’ve seen firsthand how the system fails us, and I’ve found ways to build something better, centered in feminist, liberation-focused, and social justice values.
I love talking with other therapists so that you can do the same.
Whether you're just getting started, pivoting away from insurance, or ready to reimagine the possibilities I'm here to help you market a practice while keeping your values intact.
What I offer support with:
Marketing yourself without feeling salesy or fake
Attracting private pay clients who are aligned with your work
Writing a Psychology Today profile that doesn’t sound like a script
Discovering your niche (without boxing yourself in)
Finding your therapist voice that is real, human, and unapologetic
I don’t have all the answers and I’ve made mistakes. I've also found a lot of success, and I’m committed to sharing what I’ve learned.
