Amy Martell MA, LAMFT (she/her)
Welcome! My name is Amy and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Do you feel like you are carrying more than you might admit to others? Or experience the pressure to hold everything together, the resentment no one talks about, the guilt for wanting space, or the constant second-guessing that comes with new roles? If you’re in a season of transition and things feel heavier or more complicated than you expected, you’re not alone. Therapy is a place where we’ll sort through it all and help you navigate understanding yourself in a new space.
I work with adults, couples, and families, specifically those who are struggling with big life transitions (such as infertility, post-partum, parenting, and caring for aging parents). We will look at the beliefs and expectations that inform your reactions, practice boundary setting, map out what is within your control, and find new ways of responding in real time. You don’t need a crisis or a dramatic backstory to benefit from therapy. If life feels heavy, confusing, or just “off,” that’s reason enough.
In my free time, I enjoy word puzzles, board games, crafting, and reading. I also love spending time with my immediate family (spouse & twin toddlers), large extended family, and close friends.
Specialties: Infertility, Post-Partum, Parenting
