Rebelle Marie, LPC (She/Her)
If you have ever had an intrusive thought that took control of your whole day, spent years adjusting yourself to fit expectations that were never really built for you, kept trying to "fix" yourself because something inside felt broken or misplaced, or found yourself constantly changing who you are to appeal to others that is the kind of thing I want to understand with you. If you have ever felt like you were too much or not enough, or found yourself cycling between burnout and guilt about being burned out, you are not alone in that. If you feel like conflict keeps finding you and you want to understand why, that might be worth exploring together.
Our work together often involves gently loosening the habits of masking, tracing where internalized shame came from, and building ways of moving through the world that feel more consistent with who you are. We look for the moments where things feel solid and work from there figuring out how to structure life in ways that actually support your wellbeing.
Our work is collaborative and grounded in curiosity. In sessions, we slow things down. We track what is happening in your body in real time. We look at the conflicts that keep coming up in your life and name the places where things broke down. We find ways to get through tasks that actually work for you and not just expected to work because everyone says so. Over time, many people find that intrusive thoughts can be challenged in a way that no longer controls them, that getting through a day feels less like burrowing through a mountain, and that they are living in a way that feels chosen rather than just obligated.
I am a trans feminine therapist who approaches this work with honesty, directness, and a deep commitment to social justice and queer liberation. Growing up in a rural area with little access to mental health care shaped how seriously I take the question of who gets to feel at home in a therapy room and who has historically been made to feel like a problem to be fixed. In my office, you do not have to explain or defend who you are. Your identity, your body, and your lived experience are not things we work around. They are the whole point. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
