Jeanne Bain MSW, LGSW (she/her)
Hello! I’m Jeanne and I’m both excited and grateful to be part of the Interna Team. Does it sometimes feel like your emotions are too big or that your nervous system is unraveling and you can’t find your center? If you’ve been called “too much” or “too dramatic,” I can help you hold those parts of you and understand why they do what they do for you. By embracing your parts, we can find ways to find calm and bring compassion to your nervous system.
Your body holds stories and I’ll help you honor them. Many of my clients have felt unheard in previous encounters with therapists or healthcare workers and find resources like parts work explorations (through Internal Family Systems, or IFS) and TRE (welcoming the shaking ability of your body move through tension and stress) helpful. I am also a PANS, POTS, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Lyme disease, CFS/ME and EDS informed practitioner.
In addition to individual therapy, I love group work — where people come together to witness others in their inner processing. I do that through expressive writing, group TRE experiences, conversations about hard topics, and parts work in community.
If you are looking for a therapist that will honor the parts of you, one who is authentic, messy, has had a lot of twists and turns in her own life, and trusts YOU, reach out. I would love to meet you.
