Kalina Chang, MSW, LGSW (she/her)
Hi there! If you or your teen is feeling overwhelmed by big emotions, navigating identity or life changes, or struggling to feel understood, therapy can be a powerful place for support. I work with clients ages 14–21, helping them process what they’re going through, build emotional tools, and reconnect with their strengths.
Many of the young people I support are facing trauma, family or cultural stress, or challenges with self-esteem and relationships. I offer a warm, age-appropriate space where they can express themselves through conversation or creative approaches that meet them where they are.
I specialize in supporting neurodivergence, BIPOC youth, immigrant families, and communities of color. My work is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, drawing from trauma-focused approaches, mindfulness, and skill-building.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with my cats. If you or your teen could use a space to feel safe, seen, and supported, I’d be honored to connect.
Specialties: Children & Adolescents, BIPOC and immigrant families, DC:0–5, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, identity development
