Sunny Barkley, MSW, LGSW (they/she)

Do you have a teen at home struggling with gender identity, neurodivergence, or depression? Are you struggling with those things yourself? Do you keep hitting a wall with one or multiple partners and find yourselves struggling to maintain intimacy and connection? If you are looking for connection and someone to stand with you while you scream into the void, you’ve come to the right place.

My name is Sunny (they/she) and throughout my 15 years of working with adolescents and teens, one thing remains true: the world we live in is a scary place and there are innumerable new stressors and anxieties facing us every day. As a neurodivergent, fat, nonbinary, queer, polyamorous clinician, my goal is to create a therapeutic environment where folks are encouraged to feel their feelings and take up space, even when other parts of society tell us to be smaller.

Whether you are the parent to a neurodivergent teen, a teen yourself, part of a couple or nontraditional relationship, or an adult looking for help navigating neurodivergency, gender, and relationships, I am here to support your journey to greater confidence, emotional awareness, and joy. There are no taboo subjects here; instead, let’s dismantle the shame associated with it. Reach out today and let’s start this journey together.

Specialties: 7+, Individual and couples therapy, adolescents and adults, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, gender identity, LGBTQIA+, kink, polyamory
