Sven Kalsow, MS (they/them)
If you've been struggling with self-esteem, you've landed on the right place. Empowering people with the confidence and skills to create meaningful change and develop a positive self-image are my specialties. I work with individual adolescents and adults to accomplish their goals. I have additional interest in working with those in following age ranges: 16 to 28, and 55 to 64, although I see individuals outside these ranges as well. I also see many clients who identify as LGBTQIA+.
Creating a safe, warm, and trusting professional relationship with you is the cornerstone to my approach. During sessions we explore the daily cycle of events and emotions and the deeper questions underneath it - who you are, how come, and what it could mean to be your full self.
My approach tends to work best for people who are reflective, curious about their internal world, and willing to engage consistently in therapy. The person you will meet in session is authentically me: an inquisitive, humorous, and contemplative therapist.
